Hands down!! The best Korean food ever! The owners here are super nice. They really care about their quality of food and their customers. Feels like home. Highly recommend!!

Just no. At least not for me and my friend at least.
I ordered the fermented bean soup. I was unsure, so i asked the owner what is inside since there was no other description on the menu... he only said 'no noodle'. Ok... so i got that... and I couldn't eat it. It smelled off to me. Maybe it's the traditional way, but it's just not for me. I also asked a younger person what served us water the same questions and they replied with 'no English'. Well... i guess i tired.
Ps: the little side vegetable dishes, those were ok. -

I came here because it is one of, if not, the only old school Korean place in the city anymore. Chosunok and Sansoo have pretty much gone beyond hole in the wall and at this point I think more non-Koreans patronize those establishments than Koreans.
I came here because I had a craving for Budae-jigae which is hard to find because of what I said in the previous paragraph. You walk in with a massive tv tuned to the Korean station and the cooler with the handles of Johnny Black and it was a reassuring sign that I might be in the place.
The banchan are plentiful and they're quick to refill anything you might need. The main reason I came though, the budae-jigage was just ok. I felt like something was missing, it lacked a lot of depth and seemed a little watery. I'll probably go back because soon because it will scratch that itch but if I find a place that does it better that's where I'll go. -

I used to like it here, a hole-in-the-wall type of place, though there are no "holes", but my last experience will not call me back here again.
The service is always great, as usual, owned by a couple of seniors.
The food quality and taste, however, has changed. I ordered tofu kimchi and I could've cooked it better (and I am NOT a good cook). I mean, it was literally kimchi fried just for a few seconds and put tofu on top. I couldn't believe they could sell such a thing!!!!!
I also ordered chicken teriyaki, but it was way too dry. Yes- probably my fault for ordering a "teriyaki" at a korean place. But it was on the menu so why not! -

I'm glad I tried this authentic Korean restaurant! It's a humble place and you can see regulars dining here during the week and chatting with the owner.
Of course, I'm the only non-Korean in the restaurant and that shows you how legit it is.
Many reviews mention the Ban Chan. Yes, this place has the best variety in all the Korean restaurants I have been to. Even if I was by myself, I got the portion for two! Also, this places gives you purple rice instead of regular white rice. Certainly, my favorite.
I ordered spicy kimchi stew with pork. It came within 10 minutes and wasn't too spicy for my taste. I'd say it's about medium spicy and very flavorful.
I would like to come back and try other meat dishes next time.
Lunch specials are very good deals and highly recommend this place.
